After a year working in the retail world, I have encountered the many highs and lows (insert blank emoji). However for now, I'll share one of many positives perks from working in retail. If you haven't worked in the retail industry, you'll probably have the idea that sales assistant literally stand in the store, serve customers at the counter, fix a few racks and look pretty but there my friend is where you're wrong. (tbh that's what I thought). Working in a clothing store taught me several things about clothes, customer service and operational side of things. Nevertheles, one thing that I have come to realise about myself is that I get excited to see what's new in store. And if I could, I'd probably buy each item that comes in store but you know you gotta be smart outchea...you get me! And of course let's not forget the so generous staff discounts. As most of you, many stores do give their employees pretty significant or decent discounts and luckily I do take advantage of that and somehow save a little money. I mean... Who isn't down for a discount?
So this outfit right here is a manifestation of how I've taking advantage of the perk of being dressed in Decjuba (pronounced De-Cuba). Here I have paired the Pia soft boyfriend jean with a white knot T-shirt and over the top is the Corinne core cami in khaki bringing it all together with my Reebok Classics. Enjoy x
Hope the first week of 2017 has been swell
