Every now and then, I come across content that express ideas about doing what you love, staying true to oneself, timing with whatever hustle you're in and how things are not always what they seem to be; from YouTube videos, pictures all over social media, conservations with people I interact with and even captions of some Instagram images (I deep those). From all that, I thought I would write up some thoughts under the subject "All That Glitters Is not Gold".
All that glitters is not gold; something you've probably been told.
Constantly selling our beings just to become part of the scene;
seeing that our happiness, joy and things that makes us our absolute best are fleeing.
Do what makes you happy they tell you yet they're reactions if not overlooked will make you blue.
Their perceptions will tell you there are no exceptions; raising their objections concerning your objectives
Forgetting that good things doesn't happen in a heartbeat; and if so in a heartbeat, it will fleet
Nothing good comes easy; there's not always a wind that would make everything breezy.
For I guess there is beauty held in all cycles of the process
but we fail to recognise it all in its beauty leaving us controlled.
For we should remember, all that glitters is not gold
