I've always loved the notion of travelling so much that when people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grow up, my immediate answer would be a Flight Attendant. I honestly thought that was the ultimate job or career path if you desired to travel while working. Little did I know, travelling was not limited to one career path. Although I haven’t travelled extensively yet, I continue to dream about travelling as someday this will all become a reality (speaking into existence).
Reminiscing from my travel back in Ghana, travelling allowed me to see what’s beyond. It expands one’s mind in knowledge, has the power to shift perspectives and ignite a burning desire to explore. It allows you to realise there are far bigger things in life than what’s just outside your front door. Travelling has the ability to humble you, break down monotony and create a sense of contentment for the modern-day comforts of life.
TRAVELLING CAN LEAVE YOU SPEECHLESS AND TURN YOU INTO A CREATIVE STORY TELLER.
While shooting with Iintwari, these images gave us a “When in Cuba” vibes (in hope to be in Cuba sometime). I try to put a mood board together when I want to achieve a particular look. Although I didn't have Cuba in mind when I was putting this ensemble together, the environment complimented a Cuba feel.
See mood board below.
